What is a 100 Good Wishes Quilt?

To welcome and celebrate a new life, a tradition exists in the northern part of China, to make a Bai Jia Bei or 100 Good Wishes Quilt. This tradition is now being embraced by the entire internation adoption community. Friends and family contribute squares of cloth along with their wish for the baby. The quilt is said to contain the luck and energy from everyone who contributed a piece of fabric. We would love each and everyone of you to participate in this with us. But, in addition to your "luck and energy", we will be sewing in your love and prayers!

Simply select a fabric that is meaningful to you (100% cotton fabric is best, as it washes and wears better) and send it to our home along with a note of good wishes, prayers, love and/or encouragement. As we receive "wishes" we will take pictures and update the site for everyone to share in the journey!
